  • "O My Nation! You have indeed wronged yourselves having willfully adopted the sculpted calf.

  • Thereby, you remorsefully turn to your absolver - granter of immunity, thereat curb and shame your selves.

  • This remorse and shaming your selves will be better for you in the sight of your absolver - granter of immunity".

  • You acted on his advice [7:149], thereupon, He the Exalted turned towards you in forgiveness.

  • It is a fact that He is the Only Who is repeatedly forgiving-pays attention, the fountain of Mercy. [2:54]

  • O those people/you who proclaim to have accepted-become believers, listen;

  • You should not consume the wealth-assets of others through deceit-fraud-cheating- fabrication-scamming;

  • Excluding the income accruing from mutually beneficial-pleasing consented commercial activity between you people.

  • And by illicit usurpation of other's wealth you should not make your selves abhorred-repugnant-hateful in society's eye resulting in distancing.

  • Know it; Allah the Exalted is ever Merciful to you people. [4:29]

  • And had We made it mandatory upon them: Muna'fi'qeen: Imposter believers:

  • Directing them: "Shame your selves"; or ordered: "Leave out of your places of abode":

  • They would not have done it barring a few of them.

  • And had they acted upon what they are advised to accept which has since been sent: Grand Qur'aan; indeed it would have been far better for them and stronger to hold them desist what they keep doing; [4:66]

  • And thereat We would certainly have given them a great reward from Our Grace; [4:67]

  • Know it, the ruling elite-clergy of Jews told people: "Uzair is the son of Allah"; and the Nisara-Christians said: "Al Mesiho-Jesus is the son of Allah."

  • This assertion of theirs is merely a blow exhaled by their mouths;

  • They drag the utterance of those who refused to accept before their times.

  • Allah the Exalted has condemned them. How are they deluded by conjectural falsification. [9:30]

  • And when, on their visiting you saw them, their apparent worldly position/wealth and status seemed to you exotic/astounding;

  • And if they speak, you should carefully listen for their statement—

  • To find that it is loose and week/they are like cankered, empty from within wood pieces made to stand with support of some structure.

  • They apprehend/think that every sound blast will effect them.

  • They are the enemy, therefore, you remain cautious of them.

  • Allah the Exalted has reciprocally condemned them. How are they deluded by conjectural falsification. [63:04]

Character assassination of the Messengers

  • Beware, dependence - subjugation - remaining under-patronage and disdain - contemptibility is struck upon them as distinguished feature.

  • And they have made their selves liable to criminal cognizance - arrest by decree of Allah the Exalted.

  • This eventuality is because they persistently refused to accept the Aa'ya'at: Verbal passages of the Book of Allah the Exalted;

  • And this eventuality is because they kept indulging in character assassination of: the Chosen and elevated Allegiants of Allah the Exalted by contrary to fact slanderous and libelous statements to distance them from people's reverence; [ref 2:61]

  • Know the fact that We had given to Mūsā [alai'his'slaam] the Book.

  • And We sent the Messengers after him, one after the other in succession.

  • Moreover know it that We had given to Easa [alai'his'slaam], the Son of Maryam [Siddiqa], to display unprecedented Exhibitions.

  • And We strengthened and protected him through Angel Gibraa'iel [RoohulQudd's].

  • Is it not the fact that every time there came a Messenger with such advice-command which your hearts did not feel in consonance with-pleasing and appeasing desires-wishful thinking; you reflexively puffed up with arrogance and pride of grandeur and superiority?

  • Thereby, for that reason you people had publicly contradicted a group of those Messengers.

  • And you people keep ridiculing-insulting-defaming-slandering against another group of those Messengers. [2:87]

 

  • Moreover, when it was said for them, "You people heartily believe in that which Allah the Exalted has since compositely sent";

  • They, the Jew elite replied, "We believe and will keep believing in that which was compositely sent upon us".

  • The fact is that they reject what is besides that, the To'raat, which was subsequently sent [that is Inj'eel and Qur'aan]

  • They refuse despite the fact that it is the Infallible Doctrine-Discourse;

  • It is the Testifier-Affirmer-Certifier-Sanctifier for that which is found written in the Book with them.

  • You the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] confront them: "then why you kept indulging aforetimes in character assassination of the Chosen and exalted Allegiants of Allah the Exalted by slanderous and libelous statements to distance-ill-repute them from people's reverence?—

  • Answer it if you were truly the believers in that sent to you earlier". [2:91]

  • People who persistently deny the Aa'ya'at: Unitary passages of the Book of Allah the Exalted;

  • And who embark upon character assassination of : the Chosen and exalted Allegiants of Allah the Exalted by contrary to fact slanderous and libelous statements to distance-ill-repute them from people's reverence;

  • And they ill-repute and distance those people of society who bid for balanced and just conduct:

  • Accordingly, they indeed deserve recompense; therefore, you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] give them the "good news" of severe torment in wait for them. [3:21]

  • Beware, the state of subjugation and dependence is struck upon them as distinguished feature where ever they were found. The exception is in circumstances when they have taken refuge by tying with the "Rope": the Book received from Allah the Exalted and when a unifying "rope" is afforded by certain people.

  • And they have made their selves liable to criminal cognizance - arrest by the decree of Allah the Exalted.

  • And disdain - contemptibility is struck upon them as distinguished feature.

  • This eventuality is because they persistently refused to accept the Aa'ya'at: Verbal passages of the Book - Unprecedented Displays of Allah the Exalted.

  • In addition, this eventuality is for their continued effort in character assassination of  the Chosen and exalted Allegiants of Allah the Exalted by contrary to fact slanderous and libelous statements to distance-ill-repute them from people's reverence;

  • This happened to them because they did not accept the Word and purposely kept transgressing and going beyond prescribed limits. [3:112]

  • Allah the Exalted has certainly listened the verbal boas of those who said: "Truly, Allah is needy and we are self sufficiently rich''.

  • We will record what they said and keep recording their contrary to fact ridiculing-mocking-insinuating character assassination of the Chosen and exalted Allegiants of Allah the Exalted with stories-accusations based on conjectures.

  • And We will say to them on the Day of Resurrection: "You people taste the scorching of heat-temperature... [3:181]

  • Responding to those who said: "Indeed Allah has bound us with promise that we might not  believe for the Messenger till such time he might bring us an offering whom the fire devours'';

  • You the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] say: "The fact remains that the Messengers had come to you in succession in times before me with distinct unprecedented displays never heard-seen before and brought the one which you had particularly asked for [5:114-15].

  • If you people were those who relate truthful statements, then why did you slander with  ridiculing, mocked, insinuated statements of character assignation import against those Messengers who had brought you unprecedented displays?" [3:183]

  • Thereby, subsequent to their deliberate breach of the solemn pledge-covenant of them;

  • And their deliberate denial of the Aa'ya'at: unprecedented displays and verbal passages of Allah the Exalted;

  • And for their continued effort in character assassination of  the Chosen and exalted Allegiants of Allah the Exalted by contrary to fact slanderous and libelous statements to distance-ill-repute them from people's reverence;

  • And because of their saying: "Our hearts are wrapped with coverings".

  • No, things have gone beyond this; the fact of the matter is that Allah the Exalted has impressed the epilogue-sealed the wraps upon the hearts-intellectual consciousness. This is for reason of their act and persistence in refusal to accept.

  • Thereby, barring a few amongst Jews they do not accept/believe. [4:155]

  • It is a fact that Our Majesty had obtained the Pledge-Covenant of the Sons of Iesraa'eel [alai'his'slaam]-the posterity from the second Son of Iebra'heim[alai'his'slaam];

  • And We had deputed towards them Messengers intermittently, one after the other.

  • How they responded? Whenever a Messenger came to them with a command that was not in consonance with their desires and wishful thinking:

  • They had publicly contradicted some of the appointed Messengers; and they keep ridiculing-insulting-defaming-slandering against some of the appointed Messengers. [5:70]

 

The objective/purpose of "Qatl" is to remove/put him away a person from the company of people/society. The same purpose can be achieved by defaming a person in the society so that he may not be able to exercise influence upon them. The charge of "Qatl" is only against the Jews and no other nation of the past has been charged for it in the entire Qur'aan. Though all those nations had the intention of physical murder of the Messengers but none could execute their wish/plan.

The purpose of Qatl is only creating a distance between the society and the person intended to be "killed". Annoyance and irritation may also cause the "intended to be killed" to distance himself; Messengers did distance themselves by putting "Laa'n" on such groups of their nations. Musa, Daud, Easa alaihimussalam did it for Bani Israel.

Character assassination
