  Thesis statement of Qur’ān

  • He (Allah the Exalted) is the ever Living; the Absolute; never ever to die; the Sustainer and the Organizer of all that exists; the Sovereign Administrator — [Refer 25:58]

  • اللہ تعالیٰ کامل حیات ہیں،اوروہ تمام نظام کو سنبھالنے اورقائم رکھنے والے مقتدر اعلیٰ ہیں۔

  • Neither doziness-drowsiness nor sleep ever overtakes Him the Exalted [to render unmindful of His created universes and of you people any moment] —

  • اونگھ اور نہ ہی نیند  کبھی بھی ان پرغالب آ سکتی ہے۔

  • Whatever exists in the Skies and whatever exists in the Earth are subservient-dependant-subjects for Him the Exalted.

  • جو کچھ آسمانوں میں موجود ہے اور جو کچھ زمین میں موجود ہے وہ تمام ان جناب کے لئے نگیں ہیں۔

  • Who is he the competent - legally qualified—there is none who could recommend - plead for anyone before His Presence. The exception is for the one who has the prior permission of Him the Exalted. [after acquainting the chosen and elevated Messengers with the facts on record].

  • کون ہے جو ان کے حضور سفارش و وکالت کر سکے گا۔۔کوئی نہیں کر سکے گا۔۔استثنا صرف اسے حاصل ہے جس کے لئے ان جناب کا اذن ہے۔

  • He the Exalted knows that which exists in front of them  -past and that which would be in their future time-space —

  • وہ جناب ہر اس بات کا مکمل علم رکھتے ہیں جو ان کےحال اورماضی میں ہے اور جو ان کے مستقبل میں پنہاں ہے ۔

  • But they can not comprehensively grasp any physical or abstract entity loaded with partial information of the Knowledge of Him the Exalted. Exception is only to that information which He the Exalted desired to share - acquaint them with.

  • اور وہ ان کے منبع علم میں سے کسی شئے اور معاملے سے متعلق معلومات کا احاطہ نہیں کر سکتے۔ماسوائے اس کے جو انہوں نے دینا چاہا تھا۔

  • His sovereignty - dominance is expanded beyond the bounds of the Skies and the Earth (Apparent Realm).

  • ان کا اقتدار آسمانوں اور زمین سے وسیع تر ہے۔

Root: ك ر س

  • Mind it; the care-taking of these two Realms does not weary Him the Exalted.

  • ان دونوں کی حفاظت اور نگہبانی کبھی بھی ان کے لئےموجب تھکاوٹ اور گراں نہیں  ہوتی۔

  • Remain vigilant; He is the One and only Exalted Supreme, the Greatest - the Almighty. [2:255]

  • آگاہ رہو؛وہ جناب  اپنے آپ میں لازوال عالی مقام ہیں؛ابدی عظیم ترین ہیں۔


  • Have then the inhabitants of the cities felt secured and protected about the possibility that catastrophe decreed by Our Majesty reaches them during night-  

  • While they are asleep. [7:97]

  • Recall the happenings of that occasion; When Allah the Exalted was showing them to you in the state of dreaming during Eapid Eye Movement sleep as comprising of smaller in number.

  • And had He the Exalted shown them to you in great numbers: you people would certainly have lost courage, and surely you would have disputably debated the matter but instead Allah the Exalted gave you people tranquillity.

  • Remain mindful;  He the Exalted is absolutely aware of what is possessed inside the chests. [8:43]

  • ۔یہ حقیقت ہے کہ وہ جناب اس کا بھی مکمل علم رکھتے ہیں جوسینوں نے اپنے اندر چسپاں رکھا ہوا ہے۔


  • Realize it, He the Exalted is the One Who has appointed and rendered for you people the night as like wrapper -garment—source of comfort - seclusion from others —

  • اور وہ جناب ہیں جنہوں نے رات کو تم لوگوں کے لئےلباس کی مانند کر دیا جو نشیب و فراز کو اوجھل کر دیتا ہے،۔

  • And the sleep as a source-cause of rest and restraint to free action —

  • اور انہوں نے نیند کوآرام و سکون  کا ذریعہ بنا دیا۔

  • And He the Exalted has appointed and rendered the Day for revival - scattering - social activity. [25:47]

  • اور انہوں نے دن کوزندگی کی اشاعت و پھیلاؤکا ذریعہ بنا دیا۔

  • And your sleeps in the Night and the Day and your seeking partly from His Bounty are evoker of thought process indicated by His Signs - cognizable phenomena. 

  • Indeed signs indicating the existence of the Creator and Setter of sciences are obvious in the aforementioned facts for people who attentively listen. [30:23]


  • Thereby, when he (son) had crossed over to the age of exerting effort, formally operational along with him; he (Iebra'heim alai'his'slaam) said —

  • "O My dear child, it is a fact that I am regularly seeing during sleep that I am about to slaughter you. Therefore, you look into it, what you perceive about it?"

Root: ذ ب ح

  • He replied: "O my father, act upon that which is being commanded to you.

  • At that time you will find me, Allah the Exalted so wills, in the state of the coolly perseverant". [37:102]

  • Allah the Exalted makes the persons [real entity that holds will and decision] to segregate/alienate their selves [from the corpses] at the time of their death —

  • And the person [real entity that holds will and decision in the body] who has not yet died Allah the Exalted makes it to segregate/alienate itself [from the company/control/will and freedom of action of its own body, and other people] during its sleeps.

  • Thereat He the Exalted causes to be held back that self of a person upon whom He the Exalted has decreed the death [during sleep] —

  • And He the Exalted causes to be sent back the other one [after sleep revives the will and freedom of action] until the determined duration/time reaches the appointed moment.

  • Indeed in this phenomena there are explicit manifestations for the people who have the habit of reflecting objectively to arrive at the purpose of creation/recognize the Divine Providence and Will. [39:42]

  • یقینا ان عناصر فطرت کے عینی مشاہدہ میں  ایسی شہادتیں ہیں جو ازخود تفکر کرنے والوں کے لئے  فلسفہ توحید (معبود مطلق)کی جانب رہنمائی /اشارہ کرنے والی ہیں ۔
